Production Process:

Moroccan hash is traditionally made through a dry-sieving process. After harvesting, cannabis stalks are dried for about a month. The dried material is then placed onto fine fabric screens stretched over a basin. The stalks are beaten, causing the resinous trichomes (tiny glands containing cannabinoids like THC and CBD, and terpenes) to fall into the basin. This initial sift yields the highest quality product. Further beatings produce lower quality hash. The collected trichomes can be packaged as is (often called “pollen” or “kief”) or, more commonly, repeatedly pressed and heated to form dense slabs or bricks. These slabs sometimes bear signature emblems of their producers.
